Pedicle

Definition:
A stem or stalk of tissue that connects parts of the body to each other. The brain has many pedicles (such as cerebral pedicle or middle cerebellar pedicle) that connects parts of the brain to another part of the brain. Skin tags (cutaneous tags) are small pieces of skin tissue that connect to the body with a pedicle.
